Phoenix BS1934 Battery Commander Safe 

The Pheonix BS1934 Battery Commander Safe has been designed for the protection of life and buildings from the devastating effects of Lithium battery Fires. It offers a safe place for the safe storage and charging solution of large volumes of Lithium-Ion batteries. Lithium-Ion batteries present many risks including thermal runaway caused by a rise in temperature, a shock, or faulty manufacture. This can result in the battery igniting and causing a fire that can be extremely difficult to extinguish.

Product Information 

  • Tested to EN14470-1 (part 1) for 90 minutes.
  • Fire and impact tested from 9.1 metres for resistance to the impact of falling through the burning floors of a building.
  • Fitted as standard with air ventilation ducts, these ducts are heat protected by a thermal fuse that triggers at 75 Degrees C. This seals the unit in the event of an internal battery fire or external building fire. For added ventilation, an external extraction fan can be connected to the top exit vent duct, for forced extraction, this is highly recommended to prevent the build-up of heat whilst charging.
  • For safety, the cabinet comes with an external temperature display, which gives an accurate internal temperature reading and early warning of a potential issue with a battery overheating.
  • Each door is fitted with an auto closing and auto locking function so the safe is always securely closed and sealed in the event of a fire.
  • The BS1934K is fitted with a high-quality key lock supplied with two keys.
  • The BS1934E is fitted with an advanced high-security electronic lock with a clear LED display, dual control, hidden code & scrambled code that can be programmed as standard. The lock can be further upgraded to incorporate multiple user audit trails so that users’ usage can be monitored.
  • The BS1934F is fitted with an advanced high-security touchscreen keypad & fingerprint lock with a clear LED display, internal alarm, dual control, hidden code, and scrambled code that can be programmed as standard with up to 128 fingerprints.
  • Fitted with an advanced multipoint locking system that securely seals the doors. Even in the event of the most severe battery explosion, the doors will remain securely closed.
  • Double wall construction with an internal fill of our patented Styronite F insulation provides a cabinet with great strength and fire/heat resistance.
  • Fitted as standard with 1 x surge protected 8 gang power block, you have the option to add a further 3 power blocks to the pre-wired control boxes.
  • Supplied with Heavy duty perforated height adjustable shelves capable of carrying 100kg at a time. Fitted with an internal base sump as standard.
  • They are fitted and ready to connect to a suitable earth point.
  • Pre-wired for alarm and up to 4 x 8 gang power blocks.
  • Fitted with a plinth to allow easy movability and removal from the building in the event of a fire situation. The plinth is supplied with a front cover to provide a neat exterior finish.
  • Fitted with warning labels in accordance with ISO 3864 and ISO 7010, as well as the European directive 92/58/EEC.

As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card however your card will not be charged until we have confirmed your order. Following payment your order will be dispatched as per the delivery timescales shown against each product. If there is any delay such as an item that is on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.

Order Delivery

Your order will normally be dispatched within 5 working days. You will be notified should the despatch date be beyond the 5-day threshold.

We’ll send you tracking details by email within 24 hours of your order being dispatched. If you have not received tracking details within 7 days of ordering, please reach out to us via email using support@safeplacesolutions.co.uk .

Where stipulated, Next Day Deliveries normally apply to all orders received before 12:00 p.m. 

Door To Door Ground Floor or Via Lift – Delivery & position to a ground floor or upper floor via a suitable lift with no more than 2 steps. If the goods have to be returned due to access difficulties the customer will receive a refund minus any admin, restocking, and transportation charges. 

Some products can be delivered on a Saturday or Sunday at additional cost.  If that option is available it will show as a shipping option.

Damages

We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged to

Cancellation

Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.

Returns and Refunds

Overview 

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your goods must be in the same condition as received. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If you do not want the goods because you have changed your mind you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods and where applicable the restocking fee. When refunded the money you will receive the original order total minus the delivery and restocking fee. The minimum restocking fee is 15% of the purchase price inclusive of VAT. 

To organise a return, you must in the first instance send an e-mail to returns@safeplacesolutions.co.uk.

When your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Should we require additional information regards the reasons for the return we will contact you within 24 hours of receiving the request.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom-made products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have as per the Shipping and Returns policy, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

14-day cooling-off period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with original documentation, and packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once the returned goods have been inspected, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days and where applicable less any restocking charge. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
