Chubb Safes

The history of Chubb safes dates back to the early 19th century, when two brothers, Charles and Jeremiah Chubb, started a locksmith business in England. They invented and patented the first burglar-resistant safe in 1835 and expanded their product range to include fire-proof safes, vaults and strong rooms. Chubb safes gained royal recognition and were used to protect valuable items such as the Koh-i-Noor diamond and the first Post Office letter box. The company has also opened factories and offices in various countries, such as South Africa, Canada, and China. Chubb Safes became part of the Gunnebo Group in 2000 and continues to offer certified security solutions for different customers and needs. From small home safes to large vaulting systems for financial institutions, Chubb Safes maintains a reputation for durability, performance, and a deep understanding of the evolving security landscape.

Insafe is the UK distributor of Chubb Safes.
