The Burg Wachter MT640 Freestanding Karat safe is a high-security option designed to protect valuables with robust features. Certified to Euro grade 0 standards, it offers an insurance rating of £6,000 cash or £60,000 valuables. The safe's body is constructed with three steel walls and an outer surface of particularly hard stainless steel, providing resistance to flame-cutting and other forced entry methods. The door is reinforced with a 7 mm SM steel plate, and the locking system includes square bolts on three sides, protected by steel rollers, offering additional security against drilling and breaking open. The safe is available with two locking systems: a mechanical key (model K) or an electronic lock with fingerprint access (model E FP). The electronic version features a touch-sensitive keypad with a graphic display for ease of use. Additionally, the safe is designed to resist fire with fire-resistant material and a fire-breaking seal. It comes prepared for floor or wall fixing, with pre-drilled holes and fixing bolts included. The Burg Wachter MT640 is not just a safe; it's a fortress for your most treasured possessions.
As soon as you place your order, we will pre-authorise your card however your card will not be charged until we have confirmed your order. Following payment your order will be dispatched as per the delivery timescales shown against each product. If there is any delay such as an item that is on backorder, we will void the pre-authorisation and contact you to let you know.
Your order will normally be dispatched within 5 working days. You will be notified should the despatch date be beyond the 5-day threshold.

Where stipulated, Next Day Deliveries normally apply to all orders received before 12:00 p.m.
Door To Door Ground Floor or Via Lift – Delivery & position to a ground floor or upper floor via a suitable lift with no more than 2 steps. If the goods have to be returned due to access difficulties the customer will receive a refund minus any admin, restocking, and transportation charges.
Some products can be delivered on a Saturday or Sunday at additional cost. If that option is available it will show as a shipping option.

We ask that you thoroughly inspect all items at the point of delivery. We advise you not to accept delivery of any damaged items. If you discover that an item has been damaged, please send clear photos of the damaged to

Any orders cancelled after 48 hours of placing the order may be subject to additional fees. If your order has been dispatched, you (the buyer) will be responsible for any costs associated with returning the item. Any refunds can only be issued to the same payment method which was used to place the order.

Overview We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your goods must be in the same condition as received. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. If you do not want the goods because you have changed your mind you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods and where applicable the restocking fee. When refunded the money you will receive the original order total minus the delivery and restocking fee. The minimum restocking fee is 15% of the purchase price inclusive of VAT.
To organise a return, you must in the first instance send an e-mail to returns@safeplacesolutions.co.uk.
When your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Should we require additional information regards the reasons for the return we will contact you within 24 hours of receiving the request.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom-made products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have as per the Shipping and Returns policy, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with original documentation, and packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
We will notify you once the returned goods have been inspected, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days and where applicable less any restocking charge. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
